4th Karachi Biennale, Pakistan

The Karachi Biennale, one of the most important art events in Pakistan, kicks off on October 26. Each edition has a theme, and this year's is RIZQ / RISK. It aims not only to raise awareness of art among local and international art enthusiasts but also to sensitize visitors as they explore the exhibitions. The participating artists take on the role of activists, working for the betterment of society, the environment, and sustainability. The Karachi Biennale 2024 will take place from October 27 to November 10 at 5 venues across the city.

KB24 Venue: NED University, City Campus / artists: Anna Konik, Martina Seitl, Sadqain, Riaz Qadir Jhatial
The works of 5 artists will be located in the historic Chimney Room and Lecture Hall at NED University of Engineering & Technology, (City Campus). These buildings were constructed for the original campus founded a century ago. Today they have been declared heritage sites protected under the Sindh Cultural Preservation Act.
KB24 has created venue clusters across the city to ensure easy access for art lovers, participants and students for art events, seminars and workshops starting October 30th.
